My spouse treats me and has treated me for the past 5+ years as if I am invisible; my words don't reach his ears; he doesn't anything but the TV and the Food Table. Well, one morning, enough was enough, I haven't talked to him since. I gave him the covers and pillows for the couch and I stay in my bedroom except for 2-3 times a day to get myself ONLY something to eat. Or I go out shopping and take myself out to eat. I'm doing all the things "he didn't hear me say I wanted to do". It's glorious taking my time. I SERIOUSLY 'us' and the way we used to be, it just isn't anymore. When he wants something he e-mails me and visa versa. I know he can read and the words HIT HIS -! don't let this happen to you .my marriage 'was' the most thing in the world to me; but my heart has grown cold and my 'new' life is emerging slowly but surely. I walk past him and don't look at him, he says Good Morning and I just keep going. We'll how much he likes being Invisible and Ignored. And don't tell me I can't do it for that because I was with a that I didn't talk to for six (6) years and had my own bedroom. I am NOT a dog to just sit in the seat of a car when he needs company to on the back; I am not there to keep him entertained; I am not his port hole for pleasure; I am not his personal cook and caretaker; in short, I AM NOT HIS MOTHER! Move back to your mother's and get a dog .you'll be happy except for the port hole. Had enough here! But working through it.
